Mrozowicki, Adam, Kolasińska, Elżbieta, Róg-Ilnicka, Joanna (eds.) (2015) Forum Socjologiczne. Special Issue (Number One): Social boundaries and meanings of work in the 21st century capitalism, Wrocław: University of Wrocław Press.
The first special issue of „Forum Socjologiczne/Sociological Forum” addresses the theme of the social boundaries and meanings of work in the conditions of late capitalism. The articles written by Polish and international scholars and collected in the volume tackle the problems of blurring and shifting distinctions between paid and unpaid work, standard and non-standard employment, as well as precarisation and security in the occupational sphere. The volume is divided into four parts (“New dimensions of work and social science research”, “New workplaces and labour market experiences”, “Precarious work and precarious social worlds”, “Migration, mobility and the social boundaries of work”) supplemented by conference reports and book reviews.
